Ronaldo Still Unsure

Just when we thought the saga had played out its final episodes, its all back in the mixer once more!

Whilst Sir Alex Ferguson met with Cristiano last Monday and has since insisted that Ronaldo will be staying at Man United next season, Ronaldo appears to have come out of the same conversaton with very different thoughts on the matter!

Ronaldo has been holidaying in the USA, and spoke with ESPn to confirm that he is STILL UNSURE about where he will end up!

"I've had hundreds of questions about Manchester United and Real Madrid," he told ESPN. "What do you want me to say? That I'm going or I'm staying? I don't know about the future, only God knows it. I can't say any more.

Ronaldo has been constantly hounded since even before the glorious Champions League Final victory, but he insists that this has been a normal summer for him. "Great players are always hounded by great clubs. It's a normal situation. There are other great players who are in the market who are good and who other clubs want. I have always been hounded, not only this year. It's not strange for me, to see what happens."

"I want to be happy regardless of where I play," he explained. "I can be happy everywhere, if I am with people I like, if I am animated, motivated. Am I motivated to continue at United? I am always motivated. I am ambitious and I want to always improve. I don't know the future, but I will be motivated."

Meanwhile, Real Madrid Supremo, fresh from hearing Fergie's assurances about Ronaldo's future, said that Real will still make a bid fr the Portuguese Champion.

"This type (of transfer) is hard," Calderon told the Spanish media, when asked about Ferguson's comments. "But we're going to go for it all the same.

"I suppose it's all about a manner of theirs to let us know clearly that they're not going to lower the price in any way and that if we want him we have to pay a lot more money."
