United get Roma

Cristiano Ronaldo will have some more fun against Roma this season - fresh from taunting them at Old Trafford this season (he was left out of the away leg becuase United were already through), and notching two goals in the 7-1 victory last season, Cristianonow faces them again in the Champions League Quarter Finals.

United play away at Roma on Tuesday 2nd March, with the return leg on 15 March.

Cristiano should be happy with teh draw - it sees United facing either Barcelona or Schalke in the Semis, and an English challnegr in the Final.

“I don’t want to play one of the English clubs at the quarter-final stage," he told the Press a few days ago. "I would much prefer it in the semis or better still the final. To have two English sides in the final would be fantastic.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Giggs has been lavish in his praise of his young team-mate saying: "Cristiano's form, not just this season but the last two, has been unbelievable. To top that off his goalscoring record is one of a brilliant centre forward."

He added: "Hopefully his form and goalscoring form will continue. It is great to have it.

"We have always had a good mix of players at this club who can score.

"Cristiano's all-round game has been brilliant. He attracts two or three players most of the time and that makes space for others."
