RONALDO: THERE IS MORE

Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he is yet to reach his full potential, which comes as a news that must strike fear within the defenders in Spain.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently set the record of having reached the 100 goal mark in the shortest time in Spain. He has been able to overturn Lionel Messi in this regard, but the Portuguese striker has insisted that there are still more to come from him.

José Mourinho recently said that he never expected Ronaldo to improve on the already brilliant last season exploits. However, Ronaldo has been able to do this after scoring 44 goals in all competitions this season.
He has 34 goals just in the Spanish league alone, whereas he scored just 26 goals in the total of last season. Due to his incredible exploits, Real Madrid are the leaders in the Spanish league right now with a six-point advantage over Barcelona in the second place.

There have been many suggestions that Barcelona striker Lionel Messi is probably the best player in the world, but Ronaldo has served to remind his critics that he has not reached his peak yet. The 27-year-old has scored 131 goals in just 132 matches for Real Madrid since his £ 80 million move from Manchester United in the summer of 2009.

"I just hope I will keep seizing the moment year after year. I have not yet reached the peak of my career. This is all just relative. Next year, I could be at a higher mental level and not score as many goals. Who I am today reflects all that I have been through. I have earned all that I have, because I have worked so much. Nothing has happened by chance. It was all effort, dedication and a bit of luck," said Ronaldo.
