Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the newspapers, who can't believe the news that he has spent over £20,000 on a waxwork of himself!?

After seeing the life-size waxwork that was created for Madrid's 'Museum of Wax' (which he had various sittings for), Ronaldo was so impressed with just how close to reality it was that he decided to get a copy for himself too!

With the company that made the original waxworks still having all of the mouldings to hand, they were easily able to create a replica, though it came in a little on the expensive side at 20 thousand pounds!

Whilst every single hair on his head was painstakingly put in, the actual haircut on the mannequin was done by Ronaldo's own barber, who headed out to see the mould, and cut the hair just as he would have done for the real CR7.

The waxwork was set up in Cristiano Ronaldo's Madrid mansion, but it is believed that, in a few months, it will be getting pride of place at the brand new Cristiano Ronaldo Museum which is opening in his hometown of Funchal, Madeira.

With Cristiano's former home becoming a tourist attraction in it's own right, it's no wonder fans are clamouring for tickets to actually see him in real-life action, with Ticket companies seeing even more interest now than his time at Manchester United!
