Ronaldo Determined

Cristiano Ronaldo is determined to prove himself as the World's very best player, and its this that is driving him on to new heights.

Having taken the third-place in the World Player Awards (behind Kaka and Messi) last year, and clocked up his first Premiership title last year, you could have forgiven Ronny if he had become satisfied with himself and allowed himself a bit of a break. Not so!

Cristiano has re-doubled him efforts, and wants to be named the very best.

"The focus is on winning the Champions League and the Premier League. We have the opportunity to do that and we have the players," Ronaldo told the News of the World.

"But of course it's my aim to be the best in the world. I want to be the best in the world and that's what I work towards every day.

"But only God knows whether I will one day manage to win that prize which is so important for me as a player.

"The United team is playing very well at the moment but we need to be strong in the remaining games of the season and keep our concentration."
