Ronaldo fit for Milan

Cristiano Ronaldo hopes to be fit for the Milan game next week - though he knows he would be stupid to risk playing unless he is 100% fit. He also concedes that Barcelona rival Leo Messi is more likely to take his Ballon D'Or crown from him.

"I want to play against Milan [Nov. 3]," Ronaldo, 24, told Spanish radion station Cadena SER Oct. 26. "It is a very important game for us and I am going to try to make sure I am there."

However, Cristiano cautioned that he won't risk further injury by trying to return to the pitch too soon. "I know I can't take risks," said Ronaldo. "It is a long season and I will only come back when I am 100% fit. I'm better than ever physically. I will be careful with this injury but I'll be playing very soon."

On the World Player of the Year Trophy, Ronaldo was comfortable realise it might be time to pass the award on - "In winning the Champions League, it is more likely that a player from Barca will win the Ballon d'Or. If Manchester had won the title they'd probably give it to one of United's. Right now Iniesta, Xavi and Messi are playing well."
