Ronaldo insured for £90m

Cristiano Ronaldo's legs have been inusred by Real Madrid - for £90m.

Many questioned the purchase of Cristiano for £80m - a world record fee - when one bad tackle could result in lengthy injuries and leave Ronaldo on the sidelines.

Perez has manaegd to secure a new insurance deal which would see the insurance company paying towards Cristiano's wages if he is out for longer than a month.

Ronaldo also had some other good news yesterday, with his old United house selling to Emmanuel Adebayor for £5.5m (!) - a profit of £1.5m for Ronny.

He beat off competition for the seven-bedroom house from team-mates Kolo Toure, Gareth Barry and Carlos Tevez. New Manchester United signing Antonio Valencia also put in a bid.
