Ronaldo set for FIFA Award

Cristiano Ronaldo is having a day off from training today - not to go looking for a new car, but to meet the FIFA big-wigs in Zurich, ahead of the FIFA World Player of the Year Awards!

Having won the Ballon D'or (voted for by journalists), Ronaldo is odds on favourite to land the FIFA Award, though he faces competition from Kaka, Xavi and Fernando Torres, who also made the shortlist.

The black-tie affair takes place in Switzerland tonight, where the FA head-office is based.
