Ronaldo Still Unsure

The Press conference after Portugal's 2-0 victory over Turkey was over-run by journalists looking for the next installment in what is sureto be a long-running transfer saga. Cristiano Ronaldo was fielding questions, and in spite of being briefed not to ask about it, Ronny was quizzed on his future at Manchester United.

Following the release of his statement on Thursday, in which he told Terra that he "wants to go to Madrid", Ronaldo was in a more diplomatic mood.

"I haven't decided yet about my future," he said after Portugal's opening 2-0 win against Turkey.

"I'll only do that after the European Championships are over. I don't want to talk about this again until the competition is over."

Its hardly the news that Manchester United fans want to hear, but at least its not a confirmation of his Real Madrid desires, that for all we know could have been written for him rather than by him!

That lack of clarity didn't stop the Press on Sunday running with the story though - with various papers claiming that it was all just for more money from manchester, some saying that he has decided to saty (on his mothers orders) and some saying that Real had already got their man - apparently because he has just bought a new Bugati car that has the continental left-hand-drive!
