Ronaldo - World's Best Player

Cristiano Ronaldo has been officially confirmed as the World's Best Player 2008!

Cristiano had a stunning season last year, netting 42 times and leading Manchester United to victory in the Premier League adn the Champions League to cap a memorable season.

The FIFpro Awards are voted for by all professional footballers across the Globe - with 52,000 members asked to choose their Player of the Year.

The top 11 players are then given the honour of featuring in the FIFpro Team of the Year, whilst the top-voted gets the Player of the Year title.
