Transfer Talk Again
Yes, the rumours have started again - just 30 days after the last transfer window closed, and a good few months before the next one opens!
Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be permanenetly linked with Real Madrid, when he may even prefer Barcelona anyway!
This time its Spanish tabloid AS:
"Cristiano Ronaldo has already made the final decision about his future. The Portuguese winger wants to leave Manchester next June and has already told Real Madrid, through his agent Jorge Mendes, that the
white team is the only possible destination for him," the newspaper said.
AS stressed that the player thus rejected other options, such as playing for Barcelona.
According to the report, Ronaldo's distant relationship with United
manager Alex Ferguson, his annual salary of 4 million euros (5.2 million dollars) and his wish to play in the Liga are the main reasons behind the Portuguese player's desire to change teams.
Real Madrid appears willing to pay 50 million euros (66 million dollars) for Ronaldo, and to guarantee the player a salary of 6 million euros (close to 8 million dollars).
