Wenger: Ronaldo is Arrogant

Cristiano Ronaldo has been branded 'arrogant' by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger!

With his London-based Gunners failing on all fronts so far this season, Wenger has decided that the World needs to know his thoughts on why Cristiano Ronaldo gets fouled so much - if only to get the Press talking about anything other than his demoralised team.

"Sometimes Ronaldo's arrogance is provocative - and his class as well." said Wenger.

He then backtraked and claimed that Ronaldo deserved more protection from referees to stop the bad tackles from happening!

"Sometimes I feel Manchester United get too much protection and sometimes they don't get enough and Ronaldo is a specific example of that.

"But when a player is not protected it's not right. When there is a bad tackle you have to be punished and get sent off the pitch."
