Agent: Real Move Still ON

Cristiano Ronaldo may have been banned from talking about Real Madrid by Sir Alex Ferguson, but his agent clearly hasn't!

Speaking to the Press yesterday, in the wake of Cristiano's meetings with Carlos Queiroz and Sir Alex, Jorge Mendes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho's agent, said that any move to Real Madrid or Barcelona would still be on the cards!

"When Real and Barca are involved the future is always open, not closed," Alves told The Sun.

"Given a little bit of time the situation may change - let's see. There is not much we can do at the moment because United are making their position very clear.

"But you never know in these matters."
Sounds ominous to us, especially when Barcelona seem intent on taking him - Deco, Rijkaard and Xavi have all spoken of their belief in Cristiano Ronaldo's abilities.

Rijkaard (Barca Boss): "Without a doubt, he is one of the most valuable players in world football. But there are only rumours at the moment, there is nothing concrete.

"I must say that yes, he is a great player, but we cannot do anything else at this moment. It is still too soon to comment on future signings."

Deco: "I would like to have Cristiano here in Barcelona. He has great talent and is still very young, but it seems unlikely he would leave Manchester in their current position."

Lets just hope they're not trying to soften him up for a summer move!
