Barcelona run in Spanish League Slow Down with time
Barcelona was dominating the Spanish League in the beginning of the season but things started to fall apart for the team of Luis Enrique after they had to face off with their rivals Real Madrid and goals from C.Ronaldo, Pepe and Karim Benzema changed things around.
With that victory Real Madrid was still behind Barcelona in the standings of the Spanish League by 1 point but it seemed like the squad of Luis Enrique was still shook from their defeat against their rivals as they suffered their 2nd successive league defeat after losing 1-0 when playing with Celta de Vigo.
This allowed Real Madrid on stepping up and snatching the top spot of the league.
Real Madrid has not dropped points and are the current leaders of Spain and Carlo Ancelotti is hoping that his squad continue their fine run.
"We know that day when we will lose will come. Our aim is to continue our strong run. All the players are motivated and it is a very long season. We need to continue with the same attitude. The game was good from start to finish, we played with great concentration. I value the whole team's work’’ Carlo Ancelotti told the media.
Real Madrid has managed to score 46 goals in 12 league matches, this is a superb amount of goals and this is just evidence of how well the squad of Real Madrid has been performing in this season. C.Ronaldo has a huge role to play in their form as the Portuguese forward is responsible for 20 of those goals and this is just one of the reasons on why the star player of Real Madrid has been receiving so much praise lately.
There even have been rumors stating that Barcelona are interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid but this has to be the most far-fetched and implausible rumor in the world of football as the Portuguese player has a buyout clause with Real Madrid valued at €1 billion and it’s just ridiculous to believe that Real Madrid would be interested in selling their best player to their rivals Barcelona.
This rumor is just another proof that shows how well C.Ronaldo has been performing in the year of 2014 as every top team around the world is interested in signing him but he will not be leaving Real Madrid anytime soon.
