Cristiano explains Car-Attack

Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken of the car attack which saw him hit the headlines - and says he'd do it again if the same Paparazzi chased him down the street.

Ronaldo attacked a car (driven by the camera-man) after being chased with his mother down the road, and followed in the car. Ronaldo smashed a car window in teh Paparazzos car, and then left him in a hurry. The incident came to light when a girl in teh car complained to the police.

Ronaldo defended his actioms - "The incident involved an individual who unfortunately does not care what he does to achieve his aims, who I have seen standing for days in front of my house, eating yoghurt and holding a camera in his hand."

"When I'm on my own, fine. I try to swallow it and remain indifferent," continued Ronaldo. "I regret what I did, but I can't promise that I would not react in the same way again in the same circumstances."
